Please join us for the Inaugural Johnny Houston Lecture series

The inaugural Johnny L. Houston lecture Series is Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 3:30 PM in Lawson Hall of Computer Science, room 1142.

The event feature remarks and reflections from the namesake of the colloquium, Johnny Houston. An evening reception will follow at the Purdue Black Cultural Center. The events are free to the public, yet a reservation is preferred.

Dr. Houston received his PhD in Mathematics at Purdue University in 1974, after earning a BS at Morehouse College and an MS at Atlanta University (now Clark Atlanta University). In 1969 he was one of the founders of Purdue’s Black Cultural Center.
